Step 2: Global Talent Visa Endorsement Or Without endorsement.

Global Talent Visa based on endorsement

There are two levels under the Global Talent Visa are endorsed:

1. Exceptional Talent – If you are already a leader in your field.

2.Exceptional Promise – If you are an emerging leader with potential.

Global Talent Visa based on prestigious Prizes

The applications are also open to individuals who hold one of the prestigious prizes as listed in Appendix Global Talent: Prestigious Prizes of the Immigration Rules.

These prizes have been identified by the Global Talent endorsing bodies as demonstrating exceptional talent.

If you are the named recipient of one of the qualifying prestigious prize, you would be eligible to apply for a Global Talent visa without the need to obtain endorsement.

Step 3: Prepare Your Endorsement Application

Before you apply for the visa, you must get endorsed by an official UK organization. This is the most important part of the process!

Documents Needed for Endorsement:

1. Updated CV (showing your work, achievements, and career history)

2. 3 Strong Recommendation Letters from experts in your field

3. Portfolio or Work Samples (GitHub, research papers, press features, etc.)

4. Proof of Awards, Grants, or Major Contributions

5. Employment History or Business Proof (contracts, payslips, etc.)

Each category has different requirements, so check what applies to you before submitting!

I suggest that you take your time to prepare a strong application! If your endorsement is rejected, you’ll have to reapply, and it can delay your plans. So do it well at first.

You are expected to pay Visa Fees: £192, and

Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS)

Processing Time: 3 – 8 weeks (Priority service available for faster processing)

Apply for Priority Processing if you need a faster decision (usually takes 5 working days).

Step 6: Get Your Visa & Relocate to the UK!

Once your visa is approved, book your flight to the UK and start your new life!

Step 7: Apply for Permanent Residency (ILR) in the UK.

One of the biggest advantages of the Global Talent Visa is the fast track to permanent residency.
